Alamo Heights, San Antonio
Permanent Lighting That Respects an Older Alamo Heights Home
Alamo Heights is a small city surrounded by San Antonio, known for older homes and mature trees. Subtle by day, vivid when you want it.
The Neighborhood
A Small City With Long-Established Streets
Alamo Heights is its own incorporated city, enclosed by San Antonio and close to Broadway and Brackenridge Park. Many of its blocks have been settled for a long time, and the houses show it: varied styles, established landscaping, and tall trees over the street.
For lighting, that means no cookie-cutter plan works. A house here may have decorative trim, a steep or low roof, or details the owner wants to keep visible. We start by looking at what makes your house yours.
Stone, Brick, and Character Details
Lighting Light Enough to Leave the Facade Alone
Limestone, brick, and stucco are all common on older Texas homes, and each takes light differently. Warm white on limestone reads soft and golden. A deeper color on brick can look dramatic. Because our track is low-profile and color-matched to the trim, it sits flush along the roofline instead of calling attention to itself in daylight.

Historic and Older Homes
If Your Home Is Historic, Ask About Review Early
Some older homes sit in historic districts or carry preservation guidelines, and some do not. We cannot tell you which category your address falls in, and rules differ by property. If you think yours might be covered, check with the city and any neighborhood association before you commit.
We keep the install simple to explain: a thin, color-matched track mounted along the roofline by our professional installers, with no ladder for you.
Shade and Seasons
Mature Trees, Hot Summers, and Spring Storms
Big trees shade many Alamo Heights yards, which changes how a house looks at night. Light along the roofline reads clearly above the canopy, and zones let you brighten an entry or a side gable without lighting the whole house.
South Texas summers are long and hot, and spring brings storm season. The housing is waterproof and anti-UV sealed. Questions about how your particular roof and trees affect an install belong at the design consult, where we can see them.
Occasions
Fiesta in April and Holiday Looks Through December
San Antonio celebrates Fiesta every April, and a saved Fiesta scene is easy to switch on from the app. Add silver and black for Spurs nights, and a classic warm white for evenings you just want a glow.
In December, switch to a full holiday scene without touching a ladder. Everything runs from the app on your phone, on a schedule you set.
