Permanent Lighting for New Braunfels, From Old Town to New Neighborhoods
New Braunfels sits on I-35 northeast of San Antonio, where German heritage meets fast-growing neighborhoods near the Comal and Guadalupe rivers.
A Town With Two Faces
German Heritage and Newer Subdivisions
New Braunfels was settled by German immigrants in the 1840s and is the county seat of Comal County. It is about 30 miles from downtown San Antonio, well inside our service radius of about 90 miles. Its older blocks have a different feel from its newer subdivisions on the edges of town.
That mix shapes the work. Older homes near the center may have more detailed trim and mixed rooflines. We look at each house the way it is, not the way a map says it should be.
Wurstfest and the Fall Season
Make Your Home Part of Wurstfest Season
Wurstfest is held in New Braunfels in early November and brings crowds to town. A permanent system lets you set a seasonal scene in the app, a warm amber or deep red, and have it come on every evening without any effort.
Right behind it comes the holiday season. Because the same lights run every occasion, there is no switching hardware: you change the scene from your phone.
Rivers, Humidity, and Heat
A Hot, Humid Climate Is Part of the Plan
Summers near the rivers are long and hot, and the air can be humid. The housing is waterproof and anti-UV sealed, and the LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours. Our article on how permanent lighting holds up to South Texas heat goes through what to expect.
Spring storm season applies here too. If you have worries about your roof, ask at the design consult and we will look at it with you. We do not make promises about weather that nobody can keep.
Neighborhoods and Roof Types
Subdivisions With Associations, Older Blocks Without
Some newer neighborhoods have associations with design review. Older blocks may not. Rules vary, so check yours before you choose a look, and bring any written guidelines to the consult.
Brick, stone, and stucco are all common on homes here, and the track is color-matched to your trim. We confirm the mounting path on your actual roofline rather than quote it sight unseen.
Lights for the Whole Year
Holidays, Football Nights, and a Steady Evening Glow
Run Christmas colors in December, Fourth of July colors in summer, and school or team colors on game nights. Texas fans in town cheer for everyone from the Longhorns to the Aggies, and a scene for each is a few taps.
The rest of the year, a quiet warm white sets off the roofline. Schedules keep it automatic.
